W.N.Y. Dead is a Grateful Dead tribute band in Buffalo and Western New York.
Whether it’s journeying through an inspiring tune, or improvising music from the heart, the band members of WNY Dead emulate the vibrancy, passion, and high-spirited energy that The Grateful Dead brought through the music, movement, connections, and artistic expressions of that era. Even if you don't consider yourself a "Deadhead," there is a groove for everyone to jive along to. WNY Dead plays the sounds of psychedelic rock, blues, jazz, folk, and funk.
