We're Not Yet Dead

W.N.Y. Dead is a Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia tribute band of Buffalo and Western New York.

Music is full of tradition. Whether it’s an inspiring tune or a commitment to write music from the heart, the band members of WNY Dead have embraced these traditions since joining back in the summer of 2020. WNY Dead plays the sounds of psychedelic rock, blues, jam, jazz, folk, and funk. This band keeps the spirit of the Grateful Dead alive through the music, the movement, the connection, and the artistic expression it all brings.

WNY Dead

We're Not Yet Dead is a Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia tribute band based in the Buffalo and Western New York area that was founded in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and musical styles, but our common bond is our love for music, the healing that it brings, and the Grateful Dead. Our lineup consists of Dan Pinti on lead guitar, Jocelyn Grimaldi on vocals, JT Kasperek on rhythm guitar and vocals, Mike Mosher on bass and vocals, Adam Schmidt on keyboards and vocals and Mark Freeland on drums.

We strive to bring the same energy and passion to our performances that the Grateful Dead brought and still bring to so many people. Whether you have been a fan for awhile, or a "Deadhead" as they like to call it, or you're just getting to know the music, come join us for a unique, fun, and memorable experience.
